However, it can be used free of charge for our guests with a valid WinterCARD! You can find further information about the countless cross-country trail variants here!

Tobogganing

Whether directly from the house or in the surrounding area with a 25-minute drive - a variety of tobogganing fun is guaranteed!
It's not just children who enjoy the Bregenzerwälder natural toboggan runs. Particularly in the evenings, cheerful groups gather to steer their toboggans down into the valley.

A prepared winter hiking trail leads from Au to the Bergkristall Hütte in Vorsäß Boden in around two hours. After a refreshment in the Bergkristallhütte, the tobogganing fun continues on the same route back into the valley.

In Damüls you take the Uga Express to the starting point. If you want, you can fortify yourself before your descent in the Elsenalpstube mountain inn.

Bezau offers a fast-paced adventure in the snow for the whole family with a natural toboggan run over three kilometers long. It runs from the Baumgarten mountain station, where the panorama restaurant is located, to the Sonderdach middle station. There are 440 meters in altitude between start and finish. The cable car makes it easy to enjoy multiple rides in a row.

Another highlight in Au: If there is enough snow, night tobogganing takes place at the Grunholz lift every Wednesday and Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. A special winter experience for the whole family.
